“Waterside Supporter of Arakawa River” activity was held on May. 26

As a member of “Waterside Supporter of Arakawa River”, we have been conducting environmental conservation activities such as the extermination of the invasive alien species and the observation events since 2012.

This program has been implemented under “the Arakawa River Downstream, Natural Land Management Adopted System” that promotes the maintenance and conservation of the river environment.

We received a certificate of appreciation from the Arakawa-Karyu River Office, Kanto Regional Development Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for our “Waterside Supporter of Arakawa River” activities that we have been involved in for 10 years.

In the morning session, the program was co-hosted by Tokyo Scout Council Sakura District, and included trash pickup and the observation event. In the Afternoon session, our employees exterminated invasive alien plants and conducted an environmental study session.
