Our company consumes about 8 million A4 sheets of copy paper per year. To protect the limited forest resources and precious forest ecosystem, we started the "Let's Go Paperless" initiative to reduce the use of copy paper in May, 2021.

Our company is cooperating with the “Biological Seasonal Monitoring Survey in Collaboration with Citizen Surveyors” that the Center for Climate Change Adaptation (A-PLAT) of the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) started in 2021 to assess the impact of climate change and other environmental changes on plants and animals. Our 50 employees in 8 prefectures from Sapporo to Fukuoka have registered as surveyors to observe and report the bloom dates, first sighting dates, etc. of surveyed organisms.
In addition, in cooperation with the National Institute for Environmental Studies, we developed an easy-to-use survey manual for citizens.
The manual can be downloaded from the following URL.

Based on the management system for the Arakawa River, as a member of “Waterside Supporter of Arakawa River”, we have been conducting environmental conservation activities such as the extermination of the invasive alien species and the observation events since 2012.
Through ongoing activities, we contribute to improving flood resilience, preserving river ecosystems, and promoting partnerships with local communities.
In March 2024, we received a certificate of appreciation from the Arakawa-Karyu River Office, Kanto Regional Development Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for our “10 years of continuous Waterside Supporter of Arakawa River activities”.
We picked up trash and conducted an environmental study session (the living creatures observation event) with children from Tokyo Scout Council Sakura District.

In 2022, Sapporo City formulated the “Sapporo Signal Crayfish Control Implementation Plan”. To prevent damage to the ecosystem by the Signal crayfish, the plan aims to control the Signal crayfish as necessary, and to prevent the expansion of their habitat and new invasions and establishment.
Our company (Sapporo Branch) has been involved in the project as a business and volunteer member since 2020. Since 2022, we have been involved from the planning stage, participating in control activities and supporting civic events.
*The Signal crayfish is an “invasive alien species” that is rapidly expanding its distribution in Hokkaido. In recent years, it has been increasing in Sapporo City, and its presence has been confirmed in more and more locations in Honshu. Due to its strong reproductive capacity, there is a risk that the Signal crayfish may compete with native Japanese crayfish and eliminate them, and because of its significant impact on the ecosystem, control measures are being taken as necessary.
Date: July 12-13 (civic event), July 26, August 7-8, September 5-6 (business), September 9-10, September 19, October 30, November 7, November18-19

We participate in events on urban greening, natural renewable energy, SDGs, etc. to introduce our initiatives to contribute to SDGs and aim to collaborate with various stakeholders.
We exhibited at the “Green Infrastructure Industry Exhibition 2024” held at Tokyo Big Sight from February 20 to 22, 2024. We introduced our environmental technologies and biodiversity information disclosure support services for green infrastructure practices.
We exhibited at SDGs Week EXPO 2024 “EcoPro 2024” held at Tokyo Big Sight from December 4 to 6, 2024. This is a comprehensive environmental exhibition that brings together diverse stakeholders from industry, government, academia, and the private sector working on environmental issues and the SDGs. At our booth, under the theme of “Nature Positive,” we introduced our biodiversity-related initiatives along with case studies of our services.
We exhibited at “EE (Engineering Exhibition) Tohoku ’25”, a construction technology exhibition, held at Yume Messe Miyagi from June 4 to 5, 2025. At our booth, we introduced our initiatives for the eradication of invasive species, the use of DX for raptor surveys, and consensus building support using VR.
We exhibited at “SDGs AICHI EXPO 2024”, one of the largest SDGs promotion fairs in Japan, held at Aichi Sky Expo from October 10 to 12, 2024. We introduced our initiatives in conservation activities focusing on living creatures in the Chubu region, AI and DX technologies, and biodiversity information disclosure support services.
This is an event held in Hibiya Park with the participation of a wide range of citizens, companies, and organizations to communicate the potential of the power of flowers and greenery for a sustainable and peaceful society in the future. We have been cooperating since 2016 in the design of the top page image of the website, flyers, advertisements and original goods, etc.
