Gokase River Kawamachi-Zukuri, designed by our company, wins the Kawamachi Grand Prize

On December 25, 2020, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) awarded the "Kawamachi Grand Prize" to "Gokase River Kawamachi Zukuri," for which we were in charge of design.

The project was highly evaluated for its efforts to pass on the history and culture of local resources and disaster prevention, such as the hatch for sweetfish and tatami-mat embankment, while making use of them, and the fact that high school students participate in the management of events on the river as volunteers, leading to the development of human resources for the next generation.
